well, the main problem is the fact tht the win condition isnt up to your team or your team's player skill. it's up to some clumsy retarded box.

besides, who's fault was it to go in at the last 2 minutes. shame on you there, even if it's a valid strategy and will work sometimes, dont expect it to work all the time.

This post is almost as silly as people complaining about ice-snaring in Relic maps.

Body block is a valid tactic. If you don't like it, do it to other people too. ANet can perhaps improve the situation by making the blocking radius to be a bit smaller (about 5-10% smaller should be right). But otherwise I find it perfectly acceptable to do so.

Remember, dead people blocks no one.

I understand why people would complain about something the game is doing wrong, such as the poor AI pathing and the low Hero capture radius, but people whining and complaining about other people using the mechanics of the game (passing relics through the gate; body blocking the hero etc) in their favor is useless. Taking advantage of such blatantly obvious tactics is not exploiting, rather a true sign of game experience and good tactics.

As little as I agree with the OP's complaint about people using this method, I have to agree that increasing the Hero's capture range would increase the competition in the HoH and base it more on each team's power rather than luck. It would however take the advantage away from the team holding the HoH, and would probably result in most teams holding the HoH not even capturing it right away. A team being sandwiched constantly needs to have some sort of slight advantage, wouldn't you agree?

so you'd rather have it so that people can blitz at the end and take a game cheaply, instead of a group having to hold the altar the duration...

while a little cheap, it takes more skill than the blitz strategy
